BPSU to provide Leadership and Capacity Building for Aeta Magbikin Community
To empower the Aeta Magbikin Community of Brgy. Pag-asa in Orani with leadership skills, decision making and communication skills, faculty extensionists of Bataan Peninsula State University – Orani Campus will be conducting a leadership training this 3rd quarter of 2017.
Extension Program: Hope Behind Bars
The Bataan District Jail in Collaboration with Bataan Peninsula State University, Extension and Training Services held last June 8,2017.The project is entitled “HOPE BEHIND BARS” under LAKBAY KALINGA SA TEKNOLOHIYA was launched through the proponent DR. BERNADETH B. GABOR together with her co-proponent Engr.Kristine P. Ortega. The project was offered for the objective of leading the inmates (BJMP) to be productive as individual. The extentionists will continue providing seminars and trainings that will be their way to educate the inmates, the program composed different areas and requires follow up for monitoring.
STMF on Mango Production in Pampanga
To establish relation to the other agencies/ institution, BPSU will cater the development of the community in all aspects. The project entitled Science and Technological Model FARM (STMF) on Mango Production in Pampanga is having a cooperating Agencies like DOST-PCAARRD, LGU- Pampanga and ZOOCOBIA/ Paradise Park, the later will be the beneficiary of the said project once completed.
CHED-NAFES allocates P3-M funding for BPSU “Palay-isdaan” extension project
To improve food production, achieving food security, and fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development in the field of agriculture and fisheries in the country, the Commission on Higher Education – National Agriculture and Fishery System (CHED-NAFES) allotted 3 million funding for the implementation of the extension project of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) – Orani Campus entitled "Establishment of the Community Science and Technology Based Farm on Rice – Fish Farming (Palay-isdaan Pamayanan) in the Province of Bataan."
